I am having issues with the datastream from Muse 2016 over Bluetooth. In MuseDirect, I can select and deselect individual datastreams (eeg, absolute and relative powers, blinks, accelerometer, …). When I select all (and inparticular eeg), the frequency of incoming data is greatly reduced. It seems the bluetooth connection is too weak to handle all data from the muse device at normal frequencies. Once I deselect eeg and only go with blinks and absolute band powers, I get good frequencies (I can see that in MuseLab visualizer… it tells you the incoming data frequency).
Does anyone experience the same issue? How can I get around it and allow eeg at 256Hz, absolute and relative powers at 10Hz, and so on, all without data losses?
