Interpretation of received Absolute Band Powers data

Hi. I’m not sure if I understand correctly your documentation regarding computed elements. For example in the http://developer.choosemuse.com/research-tools/available-data#Absolute_Band_Powers I’ve read that for elements:

/muse/elements/delta_absolute
/muse/elements/theta_absolute
/muse/elements/alpha_absolute
/muse/elements/beta_absolute
/muse/elements/gamma_absolute

Muse API publishes "Four channels (electrode sites) for each band power: ffff"
But in data which I’m receiving from Muse Direct, for each frequency I can see 5 variables. How to interpret that ? Why there are 5 variables not 4 ? I’m pasting an example of received data below:

/elements/alpha_absolute, 0.698259872301683, 0.253633730207553, 0, 1.1426156875713, 1.27501887464098, 1.03238275057807
/elements/beta_absolute, 0.844365343072816, 0.459010006990162, 0, 0.725234003562713, 0.564425580418256, 0.213549424800048
/elements/delta_absolute, 1.82939562599092, 1.06206638500842, 0, 1.47737547604602, 0.873706964709238, 0.582906725655777
/elements/theta_absolute, 0.873706964709238, 0.582906725655777, 0, 1.25332040238991, 0.844365343072816, 0.459010006990162
/elements/gamma_absolute, 0.146801675026599, 0.000627251436606855, 0, 0.729377040382749, 0.0564858451925446, 0.0852459247143386

Thank you very much for your help

If you’ve got the 2016 headband in the preset 20 config, then the 5th figure will be for the Right Aux.

I have Muse 2014…

Ok, that makes sense then. Re-reading your original post, I can see there are actually SIX values, so you’ve got Left AUX and Right AUX in there from the 2014 preset AB. The third reading is 0, so I didn’t notice at first glance (you probably didn’t have a good connection on that sensor at this point in time).
