Issue connecting muse-io on linux debian

#1

Hi all,

I’ve just received my muse headset yesterday, it’s a really neat product.

I want to receive the data on my linux debian computer, but got a connecting issue when trying muse-io, can you tell me what I’m doing wrong ?

./muse-io --device 00:55:DA:B0:49:C9
...
Device to connect to:
Device to connect to:
Device to connect to:
Device to connect to: 00:55:DA:B0:49:C9
Connection failure 2.
Connection failure 3.
Connecting to MAC address "00:55:DA:B0:49:C9":

When I try the ‘–device Muse-49C9’ argument, it tells me really fast that it needs the mac address, so some documentation seems to be out of date.

Could I have been wrong on the bluetooth mac adresse detection ?

I’ve copied lib*.so inside my /lib/ folder, and then sudo ldconfig (there was an issue with /sbin/ldconfig.real: /lib/liblo.so.7 is not a symbolic link), could it be part of the issue ?

Thanks and have a nice day,

Alex
