Microsoft C++ exception: interaxon::StreamTimeoutError After Some 5-20 Seconds

#1

Hey everyone,

I’m getting the following after a 5-20 seconds of having the Muse 2016 connected to the Universal Windows App example:

Exception thrown at 0x00007FFB96A79E08 in GettingData.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: interaxon::StreamTimeoutError at memory location 0x0000004A7A8FF5D0.

Sometimes this is thrown instead:
Exception thrown at 0x00007FFB96A79E08 in GettingData.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: interaxon::UnimplementedError at memory location 0x0000005B3B8FEFD0.

Has this been seen before?
What can I do to get a stable connection?
I checked the battery of the device.
There doesn’t seem to be any problem with the device when connected to Android.

Thanks!

Hi!

I am experiencing the same issue on Android:
E/MUSE: LIBMUSE Error: StreamTimeoutError: network timeout while streaming EEG data

Everything works fine, anywhere between 20 seconds and a few minutes. Once this error occurs, MuseManager.startListening() cannot see any muse device until the application is restarted. I wonder if this is linked to the BLE adapter of the android device.

Edit:
Indeed - It does not seem to be an issue with the Muse SDK, but with the device:

I have just received the MUSE 2014 edition.
I reset Windows and recompiled the solution using both VS2015 and VS2017 and I’m still getting the following error:

Exception thrown at 0x00007FFA09439E08 in GettingData.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: interaxon::StreamTimeoutError at memory location 0x00000072C9FFF420.
