Muse bluetooth setup

#1

Hi,

I have just received my Muse headband and I have been trying to connect it to my Mac-Bluetooth. After I turn on the headband the lights blink but I don’t see any Muse headband option in the Bluetooth devices. I run the Muse-io script and it just keeps waiting for the connection. I am currently using macOS Mojave-10.14. I wonder if that would cause this problem!!! Can you help me out? Thanks - Mayank

This is the error I am getting.

Muse-IO only works with the original 2014 Muse (with two usb ports). If you’ve got the newer 2016 Muse (with one usb port), then you need to use Muse Direct, or Muse Monitor to get your data.

I am trying to use the Muse-lab application on my computer(Mac). Is there any way i can stream the data into my computer?

Thanks,
Mayank

Yes. In Muse Monitor, enter your computers ip in settings, then press the Stream button
