I’m curious. Could the Muse headband record episodes of Transcendence as experienced by Transcendental mediators or even synchronous brainwaves?
MUSE measures the “objective” voltage data of the brain wave during meditation and records the electroencephalogram voltage value (μV unit) and the intensity (dB unit) data analyzed for each frequency band in time series.
Unfortunately, the “subjective” episodes of Transcendence as experienced by Transcendental mediators during meditation cannot be measured or automatically recorded.
However, as for Buddhist meditation, for example, there are meditation techniques that Buddha taught his disciples 2500 years ago, and there are “handed down records” of meditation experiences.
We can relive the phenomenon during meditation that occurs in the same human body, and we can write and store the interpretation by associating it with the objective data of MUSE.
This may be our mission as a modern meditation practitioner.
