Muse-io doesn't recognize --device on Mac OSX

#1

Hi all,

Just got my Muse, super happy with it!

note:
My question is slightly addressed here: http://forum.choosemuse.com/forum/technical-support/177-trouble-pairing-muse-with-macbook-ios-10-9-3
I do ask it though, because I don’t know how to -for example- upgrade my Muse without the use of --device

Question:
When i use:

use-io --preset 14 --device Muse --osc osc.udp://localhost:5000

or

use-io --preset 14 --device muse --osc osc.udp://localhost:5000

or

use-io --preset 14 --device "Muse" --osc osc.udp://localhost:5000

or

use mac-address

I can’t connect to my Muse.

When I do:

use-io --preset 14 --osc osc.udp://localhost:5000

I can connect with the message:

Device match pattern: muse
Connecting to paired device "Muse": open!
Connected.

Now my question is, why is that and what should I do so I can use --device? I want to use device to do updates etc.

Hmm. I guess this is a problem with uincode/wide chars. You’re system is set to something besides english? Yea, this is a bug. Thanks!
