Muse real-time data interface with Hue lighting

#1

Hi, recently I and my coworker are working on a research project that intends to use muse headset interfacing with processing / arduino to control philips hue lights. My question is :

Is the data that can be export as OSC format and received by Arduino real-time data? Ideally the lighting will change based on people’s status change. Is there any delay of this process?

The OSC data from Muse Monitor is as real time as you can get. There will be a few milliseconds of delay from things like bluetooth packet buffering on the mobile device, phone processing, and then network data transfer… Other than that, yes real time.
