openFrameworks Muse communication

#1

Hello, does anybody have any experience communicating between Muse and openFrameworks or in Xcode without using OSC?

I am trying to write a standalone application for reading Muse data and have tried following the Muse instructions for adding the ‘libmuse’ library to my program but I receive this error:
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture i386
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1

Thank you

If you’re trying to read the data on an iPhone, I wrote an app for that called Muse Monitor which is available on the app store.

Regarding your error, can you compile the sample app ok?

The example app runs but the iPhone 6 simulator doesn’t open the application as it is supposed to - it is just a blank screen.

The sim doesn’t support bluetooth, so you can’t test on it. It’ll still compile and run ok, so you can test your menu’s etc, but if you want to do anything with the muse, you’ll need to plug in a real device to test on.

Ok thank you very much!
