TC Hack Disrupt SF Project: Controlling a lightboard with Muse through the cloud


I thought you’d be interested to know about our Hack Disrupt project from this weekend. We used alpha waves from to control a board of lights - the calmer you get, the fewer lights show up.

More than that, though, we wanted to make all the OSC data coming out of the device available on the web. We did it with NodeJS and, pushing all the OSC messages as events to a remote server.

There is definitely more that can be done and tested, but wanted to throw it out there to see if there’s any interest. Here are the videos:
